"I came into America from Iraq at the age of 6. My parents had to restart their degrees through community college and from that, I learned that everyone has the ability to forge their destiny and make a profound impact on the world around them...Joining the nursing program [will] continue my education to specialize in mental health work for children."

In the inaugural year eligibility was limited to applicants from Fox Senior High School, with applications completed on paper only. Since our website did not exist during the pilot award cycle, recipients were not approached for consent to be featured on the website. Therefore, the 2022 awardees remain anonymous.
We hope our scholarship continues to grow in its potential to impact those who impact others as it has since 2022! Two recipients were able to be awarded scholarships through generous donations*.
*Donations to the scholarship fund are always directed to awards in the current award cycle, or the next. When funds are available, multiple recipients may be chosen for a single award cycle. For information about making donations, contact us above.
